We had the honor of going on a city tour around the historical City of Córdoba along with Miluska. We began the tour in Nueva Córdoba neighborhood, visiting the Sagrado Corazon de Jesus Church (also called Los Capuchinos) where we witnessed the very beginning of the Holy Mass.

Then we proceeded to walk around our beautiful city and got to San Martin Square where we admired the historical buildings around it, such as the Carmelitas Descalzas Convent , the Teatro Real, Cabildo which we entered to discover its two colonial patios, and finally the Cordoba Cathedral. In the latter, Miluska was impressed by its beautiful architecture and took several photographs.

We had lunch in Alcorta with traditional empanadas criollas and then moved on to pasta as a main dish. Also, the weather was perfect.

The weather that day was so perfect, that we decided to tour two local wineries. The first stop was at the historical La Caroyense winery where they told us a little about their history, how wine was made before and we went on to taste their main productions of Malbec and Chardonnay.

Then we passed by Terra Camiare winery, newer but not less important. We visit their vineyards and taste the different grapes. We toured the facilities and how their production is. Finally we tasted different types of wines and were able to acquire their best productions.

Miluska didn't want to leave Argentina without first trying and buying a traditional mate, so we went to a regional store located in Jesus Maria's Shopping Center. She tried on ponchos! A real Argentinean.

We return with Miluska to the lodge happy after the tour and knowing she was taking a little piece of our country with a mate, poncho and regional wines.
