A malbec of USD 160 was chosen as the best wine of Argentina

It's Iluminados Vinos de La Luz Malbec 2015, of Mendoza. There's only 3500 bottles of this wine and was chosen as one of the best wines of the world at the Decanter World Wine Awards 2019.

The prestigious contest World Wine Award 2019 of the English magazine, Decanter, chose that sample, icon of Bodega de Vinos de la Luz, as one of the best 50 wines in the world, being the only Argentine of the list.

This wine was born in Paraje Altamira, Valle de Uco, province of Mendoza, from the Vinos de La Luz group, it scored 97 points in the prestigious Decanter World Wine Awarrd 2019, which allowed it to be recognized as the best Argentine wine and one of the 50 best wines in the world. Also, the contest has awarded the coveted title Best in Show, platinum medal, a distinction reached only by 50 wines from more than 17,000 samples from 57 countries.

It is a 100% Malbec wine, from the historic vineyards of Paraje Altamira, in the Uco Valley (Mendoza, Argentina), of which 3500 numbered bottles were made. The altitude and closeness to the sun of these vineyards are one of the characteristics that make this wine one of the best in the world. A wine that has been dreamed and created to be long-lived and survive its creators.

The international group Vinos de la Luz has wineries in the most important wine regions of the world: in the Uco Valley, province of Mendoza, Argentina (Callejon del Crimen and Guardian de La Luz), Ribera del Duero, Spain (Valpicina, Pagos de Valcerracin, Cinema) and Montalcino, Italy (Cinema and Poggio La Luz).
