Today was a day to clear up and get to know beautiful places: we visited wineries from the same period but very different from each other.

La Caroyense winery, which was the first one, is a place that dates back to the 1920s, which has not changed almost any winemaking process. Some of its products are still made with the same recipe from 98 years ago.

In the case of Terra Camiare, the winery dates from 1919 but in 2015 it was remodeled. There were great changes for this new era. The machines of today are much more modern, the barrels have up to 3 uses maximum and the vineyards are much more taken care of.

All of them were very happy with this experience.

The wine opens unusual spaces by natural and scenic beauty of its vineyards, traditional wineries, aromas and bouquets that accompany the flavors and colors of the mountains of Cordoba.

The province owns a wide variety of grapes, aged in oak, whose wines - sauvignon, muscat, pinot, malbec - allow evoke herbs, flowers, fruits, tobacco and leather with serranos air, enjoying the magical ritual of tasting a wine with unique imprint. A pleasant experience in our senses, to eventually share or in everyday life, at times with friends, at the family table or during a break.

Owner of a long history, wine born in Cordoba with the Jesuits in the seventeenth century planted the first vines in the stays of Jesus Maria. Then, the Friulian immigration Colonia Caroya improved towards the end of the nineteenth century and today strains of red and white grapes that were distinguished with international awards occur. They say that the first Argentine wine, Lagrimilla, He was tasted by King Philip V of Spain, detail evidence refinement and originality. Today, Córdoba has 16 wineries spread across the various tourist valleys, in all cases you can take guided tours with tasting products and even buy the wine chosen in place.

This ultimate experience can enjoy the winery, its products and experience the whole process. Thanks to cutting-edge technologies, the Cordovan wineries were able to achieve significant progress in the quality of its wines and, in particular grape wines high. More and more wineries and artisan producers invited us to visit Cordoba and taste their wines in the North, Calamuchita, Traslasierra and Northwest areas, becoming the land of that historic wine; but also in cradling all the flavor and the potential of the new.
